Tim McDonald, founder of Wine Spoken, Director of Judging at the San Francisco International Wine Competition, and Chief Judge at the Central Coast Wine Competition was on hand to evaluate the wines served by our local wineries at the VIP reception. His pick for “what wine to take when stranded on a deserted island” was Seeker Vineyards Rose. The Mederios Family Vineyards Malbec received an honorable mention.
The people choice awards went to Aver Family Vineyard’s Blessings and Mederios Family Vineyards Malbec who tied for first place and the Fernwood and Dorcich Cabernets tied for second.
