About gmhToday

gmhToday is a full-color, upscale community magazine that highlights all things Gilroy and Morgan Hill. Since 2006, gmhToday has been connecting the South Santa Clara Valley with fascinating features, relevant advertisements and current stories that inform and ignite our community. We believe this community is an amazing place to live and raise a family — gmhToday celebrates that.

The magazine is published every other month, direct mailed to subscribers and advertisers and distributed FREE to over 250 locations through the communities of Gilroy, San Martin and Morgan Hill.

The journey began in 2006 with the first issue of Gilroy Today. For over eight years, our quarterly Gilroy Today magazine was sought after, read and shared throughout the community. In 2013, the first issue of Morgan Hill Today was published at the urging of our supporters. With the overwhelming acceptance of the new magazine, we realized that the best way to continue to grow was to unite the two magazines to celebrate this area that is rich in community, activities and stories of achievement and challenges.

THE AMGEN CYCLING TOUR IS COMING!

We get to see world-class cyclists when the Amgen Tour Men's Stage 4 Time Trial rides through our downtown.  And thanks to the City of Morgan Hill and local businesses, lots of two-wheelin' activities are underway for us to enjoy . . .

AAUW-Morgan Hill's 2018 Wildflower Run was a great event all 'round. Lots of runners and walkers of all ages. Vendors like St. Louise Regional Hospital and Rebekah Children's Center were there with informational flyers and all kinds of tchotchkes for attendees. I got to walk a few laps with some spirited local folks. SCVWD was there with a water truck (no nasty plastic bottles!). Paparazzi from Morgan Hill Photography Club snapped pix of contestants.

Shining Star Prom is all about giving teens with disabilities a chance to have an unforgettable prom night. Last year's inaugural event was such a smashing success that Shining Star is bringing it back this year, this time with the theme of "April in Paris."

This year's event is April 14 at the picturesque Gilroy Elks Lodge on Hecker Pass Highway, overlooking the rolling hills and the sparkling city lights of Paris... (or Gilroy, if we are going to be technical).
